"Come and sit with me"

There is this swing near our home. It’s an old porch swing that reminds me of my childhood. On the top wooden slat someone has hand painted “Come and sit with me, the rest is yet to be.” What a beautiful nudge to take the time to rest.

We are so excited to share adventure stories here with our followers, family, and friends. Since we relaunched the website everything has been going at full speed, and feeling like we are panting and sprinting to keep up with all the tasks at hand. We pass by this swing almost everyday when we take a stroll through the neighborhood with the dogs. Last weekend we decided to take a walk in the woods to ease our minds and try to slow down. Stopping to smell the flowers, closing our eyes and taking deep breaths, and laying in the open field to just rest. In this walk in the woods that nudge finally took hold of us. This post is about everyone finding that time to rest and breath. Shout out to The Wise One, in the photo above, who helped solidify this nudge.
